Life and Health Insurance in San Antonio
Indexed universal life, final expense, Medicare and coverage for people under 65, from an independent broker who works for you, not the carriers.
Protection and planning
Coverage that fits the rest of the plan
A new mortgage is usually the moment a household’s finances change, and the moment protection matters most. Robert LeBorne holds a life insurance license alongside his broker’s and loan originator’s licenses, so coverage can be part of the same conversation as a purchase or a refinance.
As an independent broker he compares plans across carriers and explains the trade-offs plainly. Buying soon? Start with the Buyer’s Guide or home financing.
What he covers
Four kinds of coverage

Life insurance
Indexed universal life
Permanent coverage whose cash value is linked to a market index, with a floor against losses, for retirement and legacy planning.

Burial coverage
Final expense
Simple, affordable policies for funeral costs, medical bills and debts, with guaranteed options for many applicants.

Turning 65
Medicare
Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement and Part D drug plans, with help choosing and support at Annual Enrollment.

Under 65
Health insurance
Marketplace and private plans for individuals, families and the self-employed, matched to your budget, doctors and prescriptions.

Buying or moving?
Mortgage protection and new-area coverage
When you buy, mortgage protection life insurance can pay off the loan if you pass away.
When you move, your health plan may not follow you. Moving to a new area usually opens a special enrollment period, so you can choose a plan that covers your new doctors.
Questions
Insurance questions
What is the difference between Medicare Advantage and a Medicare Supplement?
Medicare Advantage replaces Original Medicare with a private plan, often with a network and extra benefits. A Supplement works alongside Original Medicare and helps pay the costs it leaves. Which fits depends on your doctors, budget and travel.
When can I enroll in Medicare?
Your Initial Enrollment Period runs for seven months around your 65th birthday: the three months before, your birthday month and the three months after.
What is final expense insurance?
A small whole life policy meant to cover funeral costs and final bills, often with simplified or guaranteed acceptance.
Can I get health insurance outside open enrollment?
Usually only after a qualifying life event, such as a move, a marriage, a new baby or losing other coverage.
Is there any cost for a consultation?
No. Robert’s consultations and plan comparisons carry no obligation.
